Innovative Branding Company Offering Original Designs and Products for Non-Profit Organization
Destination PSP, a high-end merchandising and marketing company offering quality product lines, is collaborating with Desert AIDS Project to create distinctive branding opportunities for this non-profit organization. Desert AIDS Project provides medical care and support services to people living with HIV/AIDS in the desert community.
“We think of ourselves as marketing partners who are helping local non-profits meet their fundraising goals,” explains Jeffrey Bernstein, co-owner of Destination PSP, and seasoned veteran of the entertainment industry and international retail world. “We offer original, high-quality products and sought-after branding expertise. It is a large part of our mission to work with charitable organizations, and to enhance the image of events and companies throughout our area, and in most cases, well beyond.”
The theme of the Desert AIDS Project merchandise is simply ‘Love Lives On,’ and the line is launching with a variety of colorful mugs, men’s and women’s tee shirts, and greeting cards. The concept was created to raise awareness for the charity as a whole and to provide targeted products for their 100 Women Campaign, an annual giving program dedicated to helping women and children living with, affected by, or at-risk for HIV or AIDS have longer, stronger lives. The original designs were created by Destination PSP specifically for Desert AIDS Project and are also aimed at a wide audience, both locally and nationally, beyond the core group of Desert AIDS Project supporters.
“Sales from the ‘Love Lives On’ merchandise represent a generous contribution to our
organization, which will assist with services for our more than 2,200 clients,” says Darrell Tucci, Chief Development Officer for Desert AIDS Project. “The ‘Love Lives On’ tagline is a simple and effective way for people to share their love and support for Desert AIDS Project.”
The majority of Destination PSP merchandise is manufactured regionally, with sustainably produced packaging. Recently, the company provided a line of products for Palm Springs Pride festivities and the official merchandise for the Palm Springs International Film Festival, which included unique apparel designs, accessories, and gift items. Destination PSP has also created products and original designs for non-profit organizations like Coyote StageWorks and the Palm Springs Cultural Center.
This is the second year that the company has been an official merchandise designer for Modernism Week, and they are also working on a line of products for both the Palm Springs Modern Committee and the Palm Springs Animal Shelter.
Destination PSP originally debuted with five distinct collections: Desert Modern Oasis, Rainbow, Icons, Legends & Lore, PS I Love You, and Palm Springs Living. They’ve also partnered with Macys.com, which offers the company’s Palm Springs-inspired Melamine and acrylic collection of drink ware, serving dishes, and dinnerware. Entitled The Sunmor Collection, the line features quintessential mid-century designs that echo the patterns used in concrete blocks, privacy screens, etc., which are hallmarks of mid-century modern architecture.
Desert AIDS Project merchandise is available at Revivals stores throughout the Coachella Valley, at all Raymond|Lawrence locations in Palm Springs, and online at www.destinationpsp.com.
